    Radiographic Inspection Facility
"Europe’s largest industrial radiographic inspection facility specifically designed for the radiography of heavy section components to discerning nuclear and defence."

    Radiographic Inspection Facility

Our industrial radiography facility houses a 70,000Kg linear accelerator, capable of achieving a focal spot of just 2mm with 2% sensitivity. This advanced system allows for the precise inspection of heavy section components, with radiographing capabilities for section sizes ranging from 30mm to 550mm. The facility also includes a dual energy 6/9MeV linear accelerator, providing versatile inspection options for a wide range of component types and thicknesses. Additionally, a secondary 8.5MeV linear accelerator is retained on-site to ensure business continuity, enabling uninterrupted service for critical projects.

All radiographic inspections are conducted in strict accordance with recognised international standards. Radiographs are reviewed by PCN/ASNT Level II operators, ensuring consistent quality and compliance with industry requirements. The inspection team operates under the supervision of highly experienced PCN/ASNT Level III inspectors, maintaining the highest levels of integrity, traceability, and technical excellence throughout every project.

As Europe’s largest industrial radiographic inspection facility specifically designed for the nuclear and defence sectors, we are uniquely equipped to meet the rigorous demands of these industries. Our combination of high-powered linear accelerators, advanced imaging capability, and expert personnel ensures we deliver reliable, accurate, and efficient non-destructive testing solutions for the most discerning clients.
