CNC Saw Facilities
Goodwin’s Gantry Saw facility stands as the UK’s largest and most technically advanced industrial sawing centre, purpose-built to meet the demands of precision engineering at scale. Designed for high-integrity applications, the system is equipped with CNC-controlled rotating blade guides, allowing for true three-axis cutting versatility. Real-time monitoring of blade wear and cut deviation ensures exceptional consistency, while a built-in library of materials provides optimised feed and speed rates for every cut.
The result is a consistently excellent surface finish with tight tolerances, thanks in part to the low-vibration bed and independently controlled hydraulic vises that maintain material stability throughout the cutting process. For complex geometries and large-scale components, the integrated rotary table allows for precise material alignment, reducing set-up time and improving cut accuracy.
Our facility supports both carbide and bi-metal blade options with kerf widths as narrow as 1.6mm, offering both performance and material efficiency. Operating across three shifts, seven days a week, within a secure and restricted-access environment, we provide scalable, dependable capacity around the clock. Live monitoring and proactive maintenance intervention via the manufacturer ensure continuous reliability and minimal downtime.
Whether for single-run prototypes or full production volumes, Goodwin’s Gantry Saw facility delivers unparalleled precision, performance and efficiency for the most demanding industrial requirements.
