When & Why do we use the System ?
When?
- Used for heavy section Ni alloy castings.
- Prevents under feeder cracking caused through high stress development in heavy section Ni alloy feeders.
- Increases the feeders efficiency. So they can be smaller!
- Due to increased efficiency, feeder “pipe” size is reduced
- Certainty of volumetric integrity is increased
